One thing there is no shortage of in Orlando and Florida are Golf Courses. Apart from the excellent Highlands Reserve on which Jade Keys is situated there are many others close by.

Highlands Reserve Golf CourseWith its winding fairways Highlands Reserve is a beautiful golfing community. It features 120 feet of elevation changes in a layout that winds through citrus groves and pine trees, overlooking one of Florida's most picturesque conservation areas. The golf course is situated at the top of one of the highest areas of Florida and was designed by Mike Dasher. Large, fast undulating greens make this course

Golf View It has wide, spacious fairways, lined with pine trees, it has challenging bunkers similar to the links type courses of Scotland and amongst the countryside you will find many citrus trees.

Two Greg Norman designed championship courses 10 mins south of H.R. The international course is as near as you will get to a links course in the area and the National is a more traditional Florida style course. Both well worth playing.

A new Johnny Miller designed course at St Cloud, 60 mins from H.R. but well worth the drive. The course is excellent and will be a classic; the building development has only just started and does not interfere with the golf.

Jack Nicklaus designed course, semi private but a special golfing treat. Can be expensive but worth it. 40 mins north east of H.R. next to Isleworth where Tiger lives.

If you like sand, this is the place for you. Lots of bunkers. A good course 20 mins south of H.R. rated well by golf guides but the villas are close to the fairways on several holes.

A beautiful watery Rees Jones course 25 mins west of H.R. A must play course apart from the fact that since Gaylord Palms Hotel have taken lots of tee times the green fees can be expensive.
